About SingTab: Karaoke Vocal Remover – Sing Along to Any Video
🎤 Your tab. Everyone’s karaoke party.
Grab your friends and pick a song. SingTab uses AI to reduce vocals on YouTube and other supported music sites, turning your browser tab into a backing track. Take turns or sing the chorus together!
✨ Make it your song
• Turn the original singer down, or blend them back in for a guide vocal. • Keep supported video and existing YouTube captions in sync. No lyrics are generated. • Choose Low delay for faster playback or Balanced for stronger vocal removal.
▶️ Ready, set, sing
- Play a song (we work well on YouTube!).
- Open SingTab and click Start karaoke.
- Wait for the backing track, then sing! Click Stop karaoke to restore the original audio.
🔒 Your audio stays with you
Audio is processed locally—no uploads, microphone access, or recording. App Pass connects only to check subscription access.
🎁 Start free
Enjoy 20 minutes daily with every mode—Low delay, Balanced, and Cleanest—plus the singer slider and video sync. Resets at midnight.
App Pass adds unlimited karaoke.
🛡️ Why these permissions?
• activeTab: Access the current page when you open SingTab so karaoke runs on the tab you choose. • tabCapture: Capture that tab’s audio after you click Start karaoke, then process it locally. • offscreen: Keep audio processing and playback running when you close the popup. • storage: Save settings, session state, daily free usage, and App Pass status. • scripting: Add the video-sync helper to your chosen page to align video and captions with the audio.
💻 Before you start
A fast enough computer is required; graphics acceleration is recommended. Some vocals may remain, and instruments may be affected. One tab at a time. Protected and cross-site embedded video cannot be synced.
